I must take this opportunity to inform you that I will be unavailable for any and all activities, concerts, radio interviews, sleep, meals, or family time for the next several days, and perhaps weeks. The reason for my necessary absence from my everyday life is one of utmost importance. The Chicago Cubs have made it to the playoffs this year, and this will require my full attention. When the Cubs are playing, I will be watching every pitch, every inning, focused on willing my team to victory. Any and all time between playoff games will be spent praying for the “Loveable Losers” to make this year THE year, and win the World Series. I believe in the power of prayer.

I want you to know that I love you all, and look forward to re-connecting after November 1, which is the scheduled Game 7 of the World Series. If for some reason the Cubs don’t need all 7 games to break the curse, I will return to the land of the living sooner. Thank you for your understanding.
