Had a great time in Greenville, South Carolina this weekend. I did a show with Mandisa (American Idol) downtown during the city’s Fall Festival. The crowd was amazing! It was a beautiful day, and I got to re-connect with my friends Rob and Kristen from HIS Radio.
Tried out 2 of the new songs for the people, which they said they liked (what else are they going to say???) It feels good to be singing again. I’m just so thankful to have my voice back, and I have a renewed excitement to do what I do.
Let’s see, what else is happening? Well, I just finished the new record. Studio time just wrapped up, and the record was shipped off to New York for mastering (which is the final stage of it all.) I was trying to get out to NY, trying to think of a reason why I should be out there for the final stage, but was too busy with everything going on here.
So, I’m staying here in Nashville for a few days, spending some time with Lulu and my wife. Catching my breath after all the long hours in the studio last month. Lulu is taking a nap, but she should be up any minute. She usually wakes up singing! So, I better go. check in later-mw
