Today I mowed my lawn. My wife couldn’t believe it. You probably don’t either. So here is a picture. Earl watched. I enjoy doing normal things. The road isn’t normal. Hotel beds aren’t normal. airports aren’t normal. Concerts, lights and stages aren’t normal. Sure, they become almost normal to me, but after awhile are unsettling for my heart. Home is normal. Making coffee in my own kitchen feels right. Mowing the lawn is normal. Taking a walk in my neighborhood is normal. It’s weird, but I appreciate the normal things. -mw
