    My wife got the purse she’d been asking for
    My daughter got a princess and a thousand things more

    Now let me just tell you the reason I’m blue
    All I got was some socks and a turtleneck too

    Now, don’t get me wrong, socks and undies are great
    But a turtleneck hasn’t been cool since 78

    But I’ll look on the bright side though I’d rather not
    When it’s cold out this winter my neck will be hot
