    Wanted to let you know about this really cool thing that happened, allowing me to team up with Billy Graham’s ministry. They recently called me and had heard one of my songs, “Nothing Else” from the “History” album. They felt like it fit the theme of their upcoming TV special and wanted to film a video for it. I agreed, and so we filmed the video (my first) in Nashville. Well, it turned out great! I can’t wait for you all to see it. It started airing across the US and Canada today 3/1. Check out this website to find out when it will be airing in your area.

    Also, for those who don’t know, the song “Nothing Else” can be found on my “History” album, it wasn’t a radio hit or anything like that, never even a single. BUt I think it’s pretty cool how this opportunity has opened up for a song like this to reach people, and hopefully change lives for Christ.       Hi, saw the video on Billy Graham the other night and it was so moving and so true about the endless pursuit for happiness in all the wrong places…I was so glad I got it on DVR so I could show it to my sons and husband when they got home…very powerful, thanks for all you do…you are an amazing, gifted writer that really touches my heart on a deep level…You’re songs have meant so much in my life the last few years…they have really helped hold me together in my walk with Jesus and I just wanted to say thanks!       I already told you on myspace, but I just watched the video a few minutes ago… it was so powerful! It’s one of my favorite songs of all time and such a wonderful reminder for us to keep our lives focused on Him. It’s so easy to get distracted in this world. Wish Jesus would come already! (‘A Few More Days’ comes to mind)

      Wow!!! Just watched the video and I’m again inspired. The words and music God’s given to you will touch many for Jesus. They’re words of encouragement, love, and hope. It’s true…Nothing Else can take the place of Jesus.
      Matthew, I’ve so wanted to tell you that I thank God for your gift to share your love and commitment to the Lord through your wonderful music.
      I’ve been a fan for a long time. Your albums “Happy” and “History” helped me through some tough times the last few years. The song “You Know Where To Find Me” from “Happy” was THE song to remind me that no matter where or what I’m going through, He’s right there by my side.
      Keep it up, Matthew, and hope to see you in concert one day…soon. :>)

      Hi Matthew,
      I just want to start by saying I really appreciate your gift of music, it blesses me.
      I am a K-love listener and back at the biginning of the year they asked you to write a love song for a winning couple; “I’ve Been Waiting for You.” Even though it was not my story that inspired the song, the song is perfect for my love story as well. I was wondering if there is a recorded copy available for purchase? You guessed it, I would love to play it a my wedding! : )
