Hey Matthew!
I came to 43rd Street Deli today to see you and the Morning Cruise in Gainesville. I came too late to hear you sing (I should have made you sing one anyways lol), but I still had a great time with my brother and my mom. I read your story on the “About Matthew” page and though I’ve heard it before, I have to say you’re one of the bravest people I think I’ve heard about. People around you probably were thinking, “He’s got every right to get mad at God. He’s in his prime, making music and touching lives and now this!” But instead of becoming bitter, how cool is it that you stayed strong and trusted God to do his thing through you. I bet your faith is ten times stronger than before, huh? What an awesome testimony you have. You also have a delightful sense of humor, and I love hearing you make Carmen laugh. That makes me laugh. haha. Ya’ll crack me up and make me smile. Thanks for making music and loving Jesus!

P.S. I noticed that you like C.S. Lewis. Well, honestly who doesn’t? lol. Here is a web site with a few of his quotes: http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/c/c_s_lewis.html
This is one of my favorites: There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, “All right, then, have it your way.”

Hey Matthew,
My name is Matt Kindell and I am the guy you called when you were hanging out with my friends Katie and Amanda in Tampa.
First, I wanna apologize for not answering the phone call, I was coaching a baseball game. Also, I wanna apologize for not being there. I live in Venice, FL(an hour south of Tampa) in the summer time and I coach the high school baseball team here, and I just couldn’t get up there. My friends know that if I was in Tampa, regardless if I had anything to do, I’d be the first in line to see you play!
My buddy(who isn’t a believer) who I also coach with, was in my truck with me and was tellin me to calm down! He just don’t know Matt, haha! But I think he can see better now how excited I get about things of the LORD. You really made my day man. I can’t say thank you enough. Keep making awesome, and life changing music!

Hi Matthew,
It was awesome to meet you yesterday in Gainesville. Thank you for your words of wisdom and your encouragement. It is the brokeness of my life that God uses to speak to the world. He has shouted in my pain, and given me a magaphone to rouse a deaf world for the unborn and women who are living with the pain and regret of abortion. I still marvel at how God does all that and so much more.
Also, thank you for the CD for my son. He was working at our church for a work day. So you were God’s blessing for him as he was serving God.
Thank you for allowing God to use you to minister and be a channel for God’s healing to so many.
Forgiven & Set Free,
Sue

Hi Matthew,
Just wanted to write and say “Thank you” for writing and singing such beautiful songs! After meeting you at the Windmeal Inn in New Port Richey, my daughter (12) and I listened to your new CD “Something to Say”. My daughter really liked “Something to Say” , she asked to hear it over and over again. I especially enjoyed “Save a Place for Me”. About 7 years ago, my husband died tragically. He was taken from us too soon. He was a great husband and a loving father of two. When I listened to “Save a Place for Me”, I started to cry. Knowing that he will be saving a place for me, that I will see him again where the “weight of this world is off your shoulders”. God has blessed me with my faith and the patience to carry on. Losing my husband so suddenly really tested my faith and God. Always asking the question Why? God has a plan and we must trust in him. Thank you again for sharing your talent with us. God has blessed you too!

Matt,
It is great to see your success! 11 years ago you were in college with my sister Shannon in Decatur and you sang at our wedding in Yorkville. Our friends and family (as well as us) were blown away by your voice. We have purchased all of your CD’s. Thanks again for singing at our wedding. Keep up the good work and God Bless You…….David and Jennifer (Dwyer) Boyd
