• Media Shutdown

I did a bit of a media shutdown the past few days. Took my girls on a little road trip, wound up at the beach in Florida. We had a blast. My little girl loves the water, of course in a 3 year old version of irony, we were steps from the beach and she wanted to go to the pool instead. awesome.

This summer is winding down, it’s raining this morning in Nashville. I’m sitting at a coffee shop downtown, getting my thoughts together before a writing appointment. Turns out, I don’t have many thoughts… :) I’m sure they’ll come around.

Here’s one thought for you this morning from my morning devotion. “Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.” I love that is says, “daily.” God is not just the occasional help in times of trouble. He is involved in our lives daily, and always ready and willing to bear our burdens. Find comfort in that today-mw

I just wanted to say that I heard you at for the first time at the MOPS convention. What a gift! I came home and played 2 of your songs for my husband. We sat together and “had a moment of spiritual clarity”. Thanks for your sharing your faith and music with us. Your music put words to feelings that we wanted to express to one another and God. You have a beautiful family! Thanks for sharing your music with us at MOPS

I love listening to your music. I have all of your CD’s and share them with my youth group. I hope you remember who I am….We only see each other during sad occasions. Anyway, I try to see your parents and Aunt Alley whenever I am in Chicago. I hope I can get to one of your concerts soon. I just wanted you to know that your music has truly helped me with my walk with the Lord. You encourage me and help when things get rough.

I love you and hope to see you soon!

      Your cousin,

      Theresa

Hey Matthew-good point about the Bible verse. God is always with us and always helping us when we need it. It’s a good thing to remember. :)
Just wanted to say thanks so much for using your talents for God’s glory. Your music has been helping me focus on God since fifth grade. I really appreciate it!
