Instead of giving or receiving gifts, this year I have requested that my family use the money they would have used to buy me a gift and donate to a cause of their choice. I have also used a portion of my holiday pay to donate to various causes that I feel will do the most good – such as Food Banks, Rescue Missions that provide Christmas Dinner and Toys for Tots that give children a Christmas that they may not have had otherwise. In the true spirit of the season, I am Giving this Christmas Away!!
… and it is the best Christmas I have had in a very long time!
