    The past 2 weekends I’ve been on the road, away from the cabin. It’s been great to play some shows and take a step back from my work writing the new record. Always good to get perspective when you’re so far inside something. It’s good to step back and look around you a bit. These shows have been that for me. Seattle was amazing. The grand opening for Eastridge Church. Their beautiful new building. Amazing people there, and I got to play a couple new songs there as well.

    This weekend has been spent in Auburn, AL. with Will Graham. An incredible weekend on a beautiful campus. Tonight will be a huge event with Skillet and TobyMac joining us. Will is the grandson of Billy Graham, and a gifted speaker. This weekend we have seen hundreds of people come forward and make the most important decisions of their lives, to accept Christ. I have been deeply impacted by this weekend, and will take a renewed vision back to the cabin with me this week, as I continue to read your stories and write songs.

      Thanks for coming to Auburn. We loved the WGC and your songs. Both our girls will remember this for years to come. Keith and I will remember this as the day our baby (Madison) gave her life to Christ. She told everyone at church today that 8 was her 13. That’s what you told her and she will never forget that. Thanks for taking time away from your family to give to others. You are a very talented singer and we can see Christ in you!

      God is amazing in what He does and how He does it. I had a feeling that Will was Billy’s grandson…He reminded of Franklin Graham when I saw his pics on the BGEA fb page. Glad you had some great times of ministry the last couple of weekends.

      I want to say again how much of a blessing it was to see you at Eastridge last week. Lately I have been struggling with my walk with the Lord and hearing you speak and sing really ignited the fire again. Thank you for coming out to Washington and being such a great testimony of a godly man!
