Praying so many who have been forced from their homes due to flooding through out Tennessee. If you don’t live here, I’m sure you’ve heard about it on the news, and let me tell you, it’s serious. Yesterday, the band and I flew in from Tampa after a show, and I tried to make my way home from the airport which is about a 30 minute drive. The flooding I saw on my way home was unlike anything I’ve ever seen around here, houses and cars underwater.

So, pray for those who have been hit the hardest by the rain. My family has been kept safe, and we are thankful for that. These are the kinds of things that happen in our world that we can’t seem to think of a reason why. In these times, we must simply trust that there is someone greater than us who is in control. I believe that God is. And I believe He will help us put the pieces of our city back together in the days and weeks to come. I will get you guys info on how we can help with financial aid. I’m looking into it right now for ways we can rally together to help those in need. -mw

I’ve been hearing about the floods since Saturday on twitter from various Christian artists and their wives…I’ve also heard that Crosspoint church and conduit mission have funds set up. You guys have been in my prayers.

I live in the New Orleans area, and are facing a crisis due to an oil spill and leak they haven’t been able to stop yet. But, having been through Katrina, I really empathize with Nashville. We’ve been there, and my husband and I are heartbroken for them. They will definitely be in my prayers. And now the Iceland volcano is stopping flights again. Is it me, or are catastrophies starting to happen on top of one another? It’s so good to be under the wings of the Almighty in these times. God bless you all.
