Today, I want to give a shout out to my awesome band. Last night, we had a little Christmas party for the band and crew who have worked tirelessly with me in 2010. So, here’s a list of the people who have made my life on the road a joy.

Jeff Pardo – Keys, Band Leader, and punch line to many a bus joke
David Childress – Bass, Vocals, Beef Jerky and Diet Coke
Josh Berry- AKA “Sugar Loaf,” Tour Manager, Sound engineer, Curtain fixer, eternal optimist
Court Clement- Guitars, Vocals, Eagle Creek Organizer, Only guy cool enough to wear sunglasses inside
Dustin- Drums, the Newbie… more nicknames to come I’m sure
Danny- Lighting, and self defense expert
Cody- Guitar tech, protein shake maker
    Kyle- Video guru

Most of these guys are on the road with me all the time. So, if you come see a show, know that they are either on stage with me, or behind the scenes making it all happen! For that, I am so grateful. Good things in 2011, good things. -mw

I gave cards to Jeremy Camp’s band and crew in October as a token of appreciation…The guys who don’t always get the recognition but do a lot for the his ministry. Your list is the guys who would get the same cards in appreciation for what they do to support your ministry.

Thank you to all of you guys for what you do. I know that it is a big committment for you to be away from your homes, friends, and families so much, to live out of a suitcase, to wake up in a different city everyday. I know that glamor of that rubs of fairly quickly ;)

But I also know that you, and so many musicians, managers, sound guys, light dudes, etc. are doing it because you feel like God’s caling you to. I had the chance to attend one of your shows in October, and it was one of those “big moments” for me. God was certainly working in me and my friends and family that were there with me.

So thank you! Thank you to Matthwe for recognizing the guys who help make these things possible. And thank you for the unique and incredible way that you are working to bring glory to the kingdom of God!

God bless you that you may continue to bless the world!
