    **Yesterday Matthew West and KLOVE announced the winners to their annual “Next Great Love Song” contest, which received such an overwhelming response, KLOVE’s website temporarily crashed. After only a day on Amazon, “Wouldn’t Change A Thing” is No. 11 on Amazon’s Top 100 Paid Songs and the bundle of both winning songs, available for $1.89 on Amazon, is No. 28 on the Amazon Album & MP3 chart.

    **After reviewing the over 8,000 entries, “Wouldn’t Change A Thing,” was inspired by a letter from a North Carolina woman to her husband of 25 years. The second winning song, “When Love Comes Home,” was taken from a note from a man serving in the military to his wife while on deployment. With in just hours of the songs being available, they peaked at No. 1 on Amazon’s MP3 Movers & Shakers chart. West joined the winners on the “Lisa & Eric Morning Show” earlier yesterday to reveal the songs.       Hello Matthew,

      I just have to say that the song “When I Say I Do” is amazing. You are a very talented man doing God’s work. Both me and my fiance attended a wedding earlier this morning and they played that song and I saw tears in her eyes when that song was played. The song has so much meaning to both my fiance and I especially as we are approaching our big day. Anyways, I was wondering if by any chance you would be able to come and perform that song at our wedding on May 20 2012. I would appreciate it so much if you have the time to come and perform a few songs for us. Thanks so much.

      Hi Matthew,
      I think it is great how God uses your tallent to write beautiful stories of real people’s lives and turn them into songs. I have a special song that I shared with my fiance many years ago. I don’t know how old it is, who the original singer was, or anything about it. But I heard it at the very first Valentine’s Day banquet I went to with my boyfriend when I was 15.(That has been a VERY long time ago.) The name of the song is “Love Song for #2″. I know the words and how the song is suppose to sound. But I am not a singer. When I sing it, it sounds terrible. I would like to play it at my wedding, but I don’t know where to find it. Could you help? I thought since you work with “real” people and you seem to be an expert with love songs. Let me know if I can send you the lyrics. Thanks and God bless you.
