Chris renzema on taking the road less traveled

Episode 188

“Manna is the bread of heaven given to the people of God in the wilderness. That’s miraculous! They ate that for 80 years… I’ve gotta imagine that Manna did not sound exciting anymore... It’s mundane by that point.” – Chris Renzema

On today's episode of The Matthew West podcast, I'm joined by my new favorite artist, Chris Renzema. Chris is a Michigan-raised, Nashville-based, singer/songwriter who creates a niche blend of indie rock, Christian, and folk music. He defies the Christian music "norms" and operates outside of traditional pursuits of music as he composes, sings, & produces his honestly written, orchestral-sounding masterpieces. I instantly became a fan of Chris and his music and know you will too! Join us as we get honest about skepticism, learning from our past selves, and the tendency to grow callous of manna. Stream “Manna pt. 1” wherever you listen to music and listen to his 4th studio album, Manna, when it releases on March 13, 2024.

Let's go to the Story House with Chris Renzema!
